Visakha Railway Zone: MP Rammohan Naidu gets nod to introduce Private Bill

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Railway zone is one of the longest pending demand of visakha people. The Loksabha Secretariat gave consent to Srikakulam TDP MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu to introduce Private Member's Bill on railway zone for Andhra Pradesh with Visakhapatnam as its headquarters.
The separate railway zone for Andhra Pradesh was included in the AP Reorganisation Act 2014 with Waltair, Vijayawada, Guntur and Guntakal divisions. But, the BJP-led NDA government did not respond on the issue even after three-and-a-half years.The NDA government will be forced to give an answer once the bill is introduced in the Lok Sabha.
