Visakhapatnam : Tammareddy Bharadwaja has commented on AP Government that the Andhra Pradesh government is not interested in development of film industry in the new state of Andhra Pradesh.
When media questioned him about Visakhapatnam being the film hub of AP, he said, "Your government seems to be not interested. It is not at all bothered about film development here. When they feel there is our need, then we will tell the government what is required to set up. As of now, Telugu film industry is quite happy being in Hyderabad. Right now, we don't need AP government and so AP government don't want us."

Tammareddy Bharadwaja's comments are not going down well with the leaders of AP including Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao who had vowed to make Vizag as the Film Hub.

AP leaders are of the opinion that the new state government is quite busy with several important issues such as building a world-class capital city Amaravati, construction of Polavaram National Irrigation Project, Special Railway Zone to Visakhapatnam and a lot more such as investments from MNCs, employment to youth before concentrating on the film development.
It is learned that the prestigious Kia Motors, Japanese automobile giant Honda is on the verge of starting its unit in AP. On the other hand, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is presently in South Korea to attract the foreign investments for the state.
