Acid attack on Doctor

Vishakapatnam, Sept 20: Two unidentified person attacked on a doctor with acid at Daspalla Hills in Vishakapatnam here on Tuesday night.
The victim identified as Balaji Bhushan Patnaik and working as the doctor at Seven Hills Hospital.
The incident took place when he was back to home from the hospital.
The unidentified persons hit his car with a two-wheeler and poured acid on his face while he was coming out of the car. The face of the doctor was severely injured in the acid attack.
He is undergoing treatment at the private hospital. The victim will be placed under observation for 24 hours, said the doctors.
The Police registered a case and took up the investigation, The Police going through CCTV footage to identify the accused.
