In a public meeting, TDP Minister Kala Venkata Rao made sensational comments on Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan. Rao alleged that the Jana Sena Party chief had released tweets in the midnight when Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was about to sit on Dharma Porata Deeksha the next day to highlight the injustice meted out to Andhra Pradesh by the BJP-led NDA government without fulfilling the bifurcation promises including Special Category Status.
The Minister accused Pawan Kalyan of issuing tweets under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
