A sudden downpour last evening damaged crops and threw life out of gear in several districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh (AP). Heavy rain, accompanied by strong gales blew the roof tops of some houses in some places in Telangana. Mango crop was damaged to a large extent in several districts. In AP the rain caused havoc with crops as well as cattle.
Farmers in both the Telugu states are facing huge losses. Meanwhile, Tsunami-alert issuing company INCOIS has warned fishermen and seafarers to stay away from the sea to avoid getting stuck in a storm. Chaotic weather conditions are prevailing in east and west coastal states.
