ACB raids buildings violating civic rules

Vijayawada: ACB officials, along with Country Town Planning authorities, raided the buildings being constructed without proper permissions and violating the original plans. They have confirmed irregularities in the buildings and the report has been prepared. It will be submitted to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for action. They have noted down and inquired about the concerned building inspectors.

The ACB collected the news articles that appeared on irregularities in the construction. ACB DG Thakur instructed the Vijayawada ACB Officials to look into the issue and asked to raid them. DSP Prasada Rao of ACB, Vijayawada, told Deccan Chronicle, “As per our DG’s instructions, we have collected details before and raided. These buildings are all having irregularities. The list will be prepared and the report will be submitted to the government and the municipal corporation through our DG sir. The raids will continue and we have more data”.

The ACB is going to investigate about the VMC town planning officials, who have allowed these owners to construct buildings violating plans and how much money had changed hands as bribe between the building owners and others.
